Grant Funding Information

There are many grant funding opportunities for researchers in biomedical engineering. Straddling disciplines within engineering, medicine and science, researcher in biomedical engineering have many opportunities to apply for grant funding. 

The UNSW Grants Management Office (GMO) can assist with advice on funding opportunities, applications for grants and fellowships, the negotiation of research contracts and the administration of externally awarded funds.  The GMO has a dedicated team of grants administrators who work with the Faculty of Engineering. 

The UNSW Ethics Secretariat which deals with research integrity, ethics and safely is also located in the Grants Management Office.

Internal GRANTS

There are a number of internal research grants at both the University and Faculty level.  All academic staff are encouraged to apply for these competitive internals grants.  All application procedures and deadlines must be followed.
